About Rachel, your webinar host
Hi, I'm Rachel Boothroyd, former global law firm partner, former General Counsel, now business owner, leadership & teamwork trainer, coach & guide for lawyers making changes. I left law to create a leadership and teamwork business. I love what I do and now work with companies across the globe, from tech start-ups to high street brands. Through my own journey and my experience as a coach and trainer, I've gained valuable insights into finding the perfect career fit. I'm excited to share my knowledge and help you find a career you love. My goal is to empower you to make informed, risk-assessed decisions that lead to a fulfilling and rewarding career path and to have fun in the process.
“Leap from Law gave me clarity about what to change. I was able to approach headhunters with confidence in my requirements. I am now considering 2 possible roles and feeling excited about work for the first time in years. Before the course I was very disaffected with law. I felt unfairly treated by my firm and I could only see things getting worse. I wanted out! Leap from Law was an investment in me - a small amount financially but more in time - carving out time to think about me and what I want and need. I wholeheartedly recommend Rachel and Leap from Law. If you are a lawyer at a crossroads and want clarity about your next move, this works. “

“Leap from Law helped me reconnect with my values, vision and purpose. I got back in touch with why I chose law as a career in the first place - something I had lost as I'm no longer getting that sense of purpose from law. I started law as a barrister then moved in house to be a media lawyer, most recently working freelance. I'm now transitioning to my new career. The tools from Leap from Law have been invaluable in (i) finding out what I want to do; and (ii) going ahead and making the change. I am excited about my career for the first time in years.”
